Atlantic Marine Research and Innovation Ecosystem in the Azores

The Azores arises as an innovation transfer ecosystem. Scientists based in OKEANOS - University of Azores Research and Development Centre are invited to present the innovation work developed in the Azores, within the scope of international Atlantic projects and partnerships including the interdisciplinary dimension.

After the short presentations, a discussion will be held referring to:

• • Emergence of technological and social innovation
• • Innovation demonstration and impacts
• • How the innovation leap
• • From and for the Atlantic cooperation
• • What potential/application on the Atlantic?
• • Synergies and integration of innovative projects and inclusion of citizen science, for the creation of new innovative research models.
