Pledge Description
Ocean technologies are rapidly growing worldwide due to offshore renewable energies, aquaculture, ocean communication and surveillance, ocean cleaning, and offshore robotics. OceanACT will shorten the path to commercialization of new ocean technologies by providing access to offshore infrastructure for technology testing, and by supporting technology developers throughout all the different stages of the projects (implementation, operation, maintenance, decommissioning, and certification).
Pledge Deliverables
Documents with descriptions of the conditions, equipment and infrastructure of the PT Aguçadoura test site, Viana do Castelo pilot zone, and Tec4Sea marine robotics infrastructure. These documents will be available by the end of 2021. Networking activities, such as online workshops, meetings with national entities, collaborations with other demonstration test centre, and participation in international groups of offshore testing centres (e.g., International WaTERS) will be performed during 2021.
